Update on the Tropics:

What was Potential Tropical Cyclone #13 became Tropical Depression #13 on Thursday night in the Caribbean Sea. At the time it was upgraded, it had max sustained winds of 35mph....and it was moving westward. It is not a threat to the U.S, but it’s expected to bring major impacts to parts of Central America by this weekend as it strengthens over the warm Caribbean waters. Impacts include: heavy rainfall, life threatening flash flooding, mud slides, coastal flooding, strong winds, etc.
