Anna Baucum

Anna prides herself in being from East Mississippi. She went to Enterprise Elementary, West Lauderdale Middle School, and graduated from Newton County High. She then went to Mississippi State University where she studied public relations, communication studies, and marketing.

In June 2022, Anna began her journey at WTOK as a Creative Services Intern. After earning her Bachelors of Arts in Communication in December 2022, Anna returned to the WTOK team in January 2023.

To pass the time, Anna loves reading classics and science fiction. Some of her favorite authors are Somerset Maugham, Kurt Vonnegut, and Ray Bradbury. She also loves music and music history. Her favorite genres are rock, indie, and blues.

As someone who has always loved writing, storytelling, and has had a compassionate heart, Anna is excited to be the voice for those who need their story told. So, don't be afraid to reach out to her!
